Ian Rush currently holds the record for most League Cup wins with 5.
Sergio, Silva, Kompany & Fernandinho all currently have 4.
So I hope we go after this trophy again next year.

Thing is you get to celebrate several times (misses for them and goals for us), and if you win, the last is the best.
Prefer a goal down, get a lateish equaliser followed by the last gasp stunning winner to cue bedlam in the stands.
Raheem’s last minute winner against Southampton last season is the ultimate type of winner for me (excluding Sergio’s goal of goals)...but smashing it in off the underside of the bar ain’t bad either!
