Tough game, but we came through and after 125 years, we’ve finally retained a trophy.

Great performances all over the pitch. We defended very well when we had to and caused problems when we attacked.

Delighted with that but came at some cost with Fernandinho and Laporte coming off injured. Have to hope Stones is back soon.

Not our best performance but we kept at it and their keeper had more saves to make than Ederson. We deserved it in the end.

That said... Been saying this for a while. Liverpool will lose points, lots of them. It's our ability to win our games that worry me. Our style of play is so energy sapping, it's almost impossible to sustain certain quality at the business end of the season, especially as we still have Ferna as our indispensable player.
Imagine playing 3 or 4 huge matches like this every month. It'll be very very tough.

We're on a fucking roll Blues! Bar the Newcastle game, we have been fucking dynamite since the turn of the year. We're winning in every which way. Getting squad players gametime against the likes of Burton, Rotherham, and Newport. Winning games against the rest of the top six like Liverpool, Arsenal, and Chelsea all the way from 2-1 to 6-0. Coming from behind and against adversity in Germany to beat Schalke. And now, when nothing seemed to be going right, we go in and boss a penalty shootout.

Our manager and players are addicted to winning, and they can do it any which way. We're very much alive in every competition the rest of the way. Enjoy the times Blues. Another piece of silverware.
