League Cup final tickets

A few years ago we went to their place in the FA Cup and had about 1/3 of the entire attendance that day.
That might be when we filled the Holte End and they were given the away end. Pissed me off when sporadic groups of bellends kept on singing wwywyws. If only they knew how fucking stupid they are.

Tickets arrived today.

What's this about Villa buying tickets in our end, the higher priced ones that are difficult to shift? How are they getting them??

Telegraph (see BBC Football Gossip) reporting that City are struggling to sell out our allocation.

Yet another example of the media printing what they think will make their Man Utd and Liverpool fanbase happy.

We've sold almost exactly the same number as Villa and have a slightly larger allocation (1,000 or so). I would not be surprised if that's because we took the Level 2 seats and Villa didn't.

What else could we expect of the media ? The Telegraph could just as easily have written " City fans snub over-priced seats at Wembley", and then gone on to say what a rip off those tickets are, which would have been a more accurate assessment. No chance of that though.
As big a City fan as I am, and one who has never missed a Wembley final, I have say that I would baulk at paying £125 - £150 for a LC Final when really good seats have been available for less than half that price. That's taking the piss.

Sales of City's Level 2 seats might pick up when everything else is sold but at the moment they are barely shifting. If there is such a rumour it's clearly rubbish. Would be cheaper for Villa fans to buy in their own end off a tout than pay £150.
