League Cup final tickets

Best Villa away for me was when we beat them 2-1 in the 90s to end a huge away drought. Peter Reid of all people arrived in the box from nowhere to stroke home the winner late in the game and send the away end absolutely fucking mental, rarely seen anything like it.

yep, awesome end to an unbelievable ( 2 years i think) away drought. I was there also. Didn't he kick it in off a rebound off the post?

And I think this started Blue Moon ( once in a blue moon)..... happy days.......

Villa taking 33,666 to Wembley. City got more tickets. Our allocation is 34,854

There are 1,316 remaining online so if this reflects total sales we have sold 33,538 and need to sell another 128 tickets to go past Villa.

The target to beat is 1,188 remaining in Level 2. We will have the bigger support at Wembley albeit by a small margin

Looks like this will sell out in the next day or two.

I’m surprised if Villa are actually giving it the billy big bollocks over ticket sales for this.

I just had a quick google. For a couple of league games in their promotion winning season last year they had attendances in the 27,000. To put this in perspective, for our league games we average pretty much double that, and at the start of this season we had over 31,000 for opening game of MCFC women’s season. The season before that they had 11,000 for a League Cup game. I assume there must have been something going on that day to explain that one away?

If the Villa fans want to buy the expensive seats left in our end then I couldn’t really care. As another poster pointed out. It’ll be the bell ends who haven’t attended 5 Villa games this season but will spend £100’s sitting in the wrong end when a cup final comes round.

Sales might slow over the weekend and now that we are down to the most expensive seats. Monday will be the day I think when fans think about the next week.

What normally happens is fan's who think they can't be bothered or who are sitting on the fence suddenly get caught up in all the talk and decide to go.

It's a strange old game these days when taking 33,000 fans over 200 miles for a game is seen as something to be mocked instead of praised.

Bell ends indeed. Even more so because if Villa fans had been to Wembley just half as many times as us over the past 10 years (and yes, I know they’ve been there a few times), they’ll know that it’s the easiest ground in the world to jib in to. A mate of mine has done it 4 times since 2011. Not that I’d ever condone such criminal behaviour but there you go.
