28th of feb, i need to book the day of work, but dont know if it's tempting fate!, i'm in a f'in dilema!, i'd be gutted if i had to work!, but it would be worse having the day off, and not getting to the final, and the rags on the telly!, will it be a 3pm kick off?, i could just book an early!

Really hoping that as we go upto pick up the cup (gulp) we all raise the roof with a 34 years and we're still here chant.

I was there watching Dennis Tueart's overhead kick win us the cup. Took the underground back to my sister's place and it was full of Geordies (the train, not my sister's place). My mate and I were the only ones in the carriage wearing City scarves and we were shitting ourselves until one huge guy whispered in my ear...cheer up, your team won. Made me smile and soon we were all sharing Newcie browns and having a friendly chat about the game. Great bunch of lads, the Geordies.
