Looks like our year again

Would be great to win it 3 years on the bounce.
I can't remember anybody winning it 3 years on the run since Liverpool at the start of the 80s.

We've won one tie, and in the last 8 there will be a guarantee of one of:

Chelsea/Utd
Liverpool/Arsenal

and probably Everton and Leicester.

So if we do beat Southampton, the quarter-final draw will likely be difficult. The Champions League will have finished 1 week before, and Q/F will likely be bracketed by Arsenal away and Leicester at home, which might make for one of those difficult occasions where you play the same team twice in quick succession.

Liverpool and Manchester United fans have claimed rivals Manchester City were given an easy draw in the Carabao Cup fourth round against Southampton, and that they’ve been given “another” easy ride in the cup competitions.
