league cup semi final

can't believe some guys are saying its only the carling cup, ????????????
Hope were not getting to big for our boots

Take Care

I sympathise with those that can't afford it, I really do. However, I feel that this game has been reasonably priced.

Alot of people that are moaning I get the impression actually go to alot of the away games, therefore I am struggling to understand why you haven't thought of the added cost of us going further in the cups and of course Europe too.

For me, knocking Wigan away and say either West Brom, Sunderland or Everton on the head in order to pay for the 2 legs against Liverpool is a no brainer. (should you want to go)

It also seems that there are alot that don't go many away games but seeing as it was only £15 for Wolves & £10 for Arsenal they have decided to go and now expect the same for a semi final.

Many will moan but many will also blow £150+ on New Years Eve down the local boozer, in town or whatever.

I stand by that it is reasonably priced.

I used to pay 10p on the bus to go out for the night on £10. Times change, it's not just football. I sympathise with those who can't afford to go, but you will need to start cherry picking your games because, rest assured, it will only ever go up going forwards !

Another slant on this....if you take kids to a game.
MCFC (home).......league cup semi kids £10....or £5 in the family stand
L`Pool (away)......league cup semi all kids £5
Wigan (away)......on TV, monday night....kids £20?????

Explain that one?

It's only £5 for kids in level one of the family stand, we sit in level two and have to pay £10 for kids, and its and extra £5 for me.

But its not that expensive for a semi final.

some right shite posted on here from those who think these prices are ok
Great debate that - "You think differently to me so your opinion is shite"

I think going out and spending £50+ on a weekend night out is ridiculously expensive so I don't do it anymore. I have mates round or friends round for a meal. It helps me afford going to matches.

Yet I know loads that think football is expensive but think nothing of buying WHP tickets for £50, then £50 on ale, another £40 on a new top, same on trainers, not to mention a couple of grams for a further £80. We each get by as we see fit and £35 for a semi, whilst more expensive than I'd want (as we all want everything for as cheap as possible at the end of the day), is worthwhile.

Fuck me! Is it £50 to get into the WHP these days? Glad I'm out of that game now!
