I hope Sunderland can pull this off and Patrick Roberts has a big game. I really thought he would have a big career in the game. It’s a pity he didnt make it with us but maybe he can still achieve something with Sunderland.

I saw video's of him and he was like bloody Messi, the ball was glued to his feet. I was made up when we signed him then he just faded.

I thought the documentary series about them was great. It really brought home what it’s like to support a big club that’s going through hard times. Probably why we like them so much.

Yes we can identify with them, similar to West Ham although they are in the premier league. Sunderland fans were brilliant at Wembley when we played them.
