Just started to learn JavaScript. Would love to be able to learn C/Objective C but seems very difficult Anyone else on here a programmer/coder?

I can program at a pretty basic level in C#, C, Python and Assembly language.
Need to learn Java I think next.

So what's does everyone do with their coding skills on a day to day basis? Would love to write a program/app and make money off it.

I work in electronics so most of my code is used for interfacing things I build with the computer.
For example I am building a testing device which I want to talk to the computer through USB and then I will make a basic interface to handle the real world data coming in. Like I might have a graph or a few textboxes with numbers going in depending on what I am doing.
It's all super low level I cant do any interesting PC graphics or anything interesting its all just to deal with my electronics.
