Leather coats

Recently bought a leather jacket from a website (Caine) and for £250 I was expecting a little more. Was cheap and also the zip was broke.

Mainly need one for the upcoming cold months and has to be a tad formal (wearing it for working at bars/clubs)

Can you recommend any brands and or places in Manchester?
Maybe there's some places in cheetham Hill or somewhere?

I'm willing to spend a few quid as it has to be decent leather (extra protection in case of stabbings)

By stabbings I take it you mean with a knife, rather than unconsenting anal sex? I'm not sure what clubs you frequent but try to avoid leather trousers with zips on the arse.

And yes I meant I need a jacket that is good quality leather as it does act as an extra layer of protection (you'll be surprised how many weapons we find at some venues using the metal detector)

And sadly, how many times people threaten to stab us :(
