I've had the A2 for 30 years. Got it from Aspecto on Bridge Street. Just gets better with age. Got the Peacoat 2 years ago. Best leather jackets in the world.

Marlon Brando wore the Perfecto in The Wild One, the A2 was standard USAF issue in WW2 as was the Peacoat for the USN.

Last a lifetime.
Lovely coats, but at that price the op would want a stab vest on top to protect the coat.

Would be better off with a sheepskin

I love that jacket. Shame it wouldn't suit me though

Theres that leather jacket shop just of St Anns square in town, next doot to Life. I walked past the other day and they were doing some items 50% off

Get a leather duster, you'll look well cool...

Fucking stabbings, are you still working in Moston 1993?

Not had one incident of this nature in 10 years of having doors, you're obviously working for the wrong firm!!

Hehe, like I said it isn't a daily occurrence, most (if not all) venues in Mcr centre are sound and there's no bother but one or two in outside towns are right hairy clubs with big drug issues and so on...
Mainly want a coat that will keep me warm (I have a stab vest)
Just like the look of leather coats, but dusters look like something Leon would wear lol

Leather alone won't stop a knife unless it's heavy grade like one of these.
Most fashion jackets will use lighter grade leather. The quilting might help for protection but a sharp knife will go through leather easily.
Why not try a belstaff waxed? They're solid.
