Remember it well, spent most of the night watching their fans - they never stopped making noise or jumping up and down all night

Was it Lech Poznan who also got the top tier of the East Stand as well as the away end? I think it was. I remember the noise booming down like the jaws of hell were opening or something.

The first thing which I thought. Bit like the old North stand/Kippax lower days, both stands chanting to each other and the other responding.

What I remember is that all the local Poles had turned out to support them, and they were the ones in the East Stand.

They were great fans …… they were up on level 3 east stand as well but not sure they had it all …. Anyone up there to confirm ?

What the fucking hell is that ?? Hang on a minute ….. we could do that !!!! Only city fans could do that ….. best used at Wembley against THEM

Cheers Lech Poznan you legends

And to think that side was an upgrade ! Little did we know that was just the start of the begining.

I thought this YT Lech Poznan video gives a great sociological/cultural history of the Poznan with some fantastic quotes including:

Translation to English from 13:06
I generally have the impression that Manchester City, despite the successes they have had recently, is not such a pompous company as its local rival and in general they are some nicer people

From an Oasis fan I spoke to, I know, for example, about the British guy who, in fact, only because he did “the Poznań” at the concert he flew to Poznań and explored the city and this aspect of Poznań's recognition as a city. I think it's important in this whole story

I can't say what will happen because if someone had said in 2010 that we would get into the Cambridge Dictionary with this, we would get to Wembley we will reach Mexico, LA, New York during Oasis concerts I don't think anyone would believe it

The history of this dance is a story that is inextricably linked to the sports rivalry with Manchester City which will forever be the foundation of the history of Lech Poznań.
There has never been anything greater in the history of Lech even a victory against Olympique Marseille, who later won the European Cup, will never go down in history as something that is later carried out by fans
