Lech Poznan vs MCFC - Official Match Thread

Frankly I would rather our owners sell us to fookin poundstrechers - then see the fookin crocodile tears the wanky coonty media would shed at our demise - at least we´d have our fookin dignity - that shower out there don´t know how lucky they are

I don't understand why people are blaming the players, just like they have blamed the players when we've had a completely different 11 on the pitch. No matter who has been playing for us recently, we've looked extremely suspect. Sure, we've won a few of the games but that is mainly pure instinct from some very good players. The tactics and training simply do not work for us and are losing us games we should be winning. The players' instinct is sometimes winning us games the tactics and training should be causing us to lose.

Basically it's the training staff at fault. There can be no other explanation considering the number of players we've fielded from so many different backgrounds that have all struggled with the same problems.

Got to admit Zin, after what i thought was a great start against the scouse, Milner really has been in a steady decline.

One of his main 'pros' at villa was the quality of his delivery...... i'm sorry but in 10 games i haven't seen him deliver one decent cross, corner or free kick..... like i say, at the moment its just grating

Dont forget his abilty to hit the back of the net as well for them....

Looks a different player all of a sudden.

I'm sorry but Milner has been shite since Liverpool. We have the slowest midfield in football.

Well if we played our decent midfielders like Silva, AJ & Milner we could be alright!

I wonder how Tevez would play in a position just behind say Balotelli with Silva & AJ on the wings. The only reason I say that is because he often comes deep to look for the ball, turns, runs and then loses it because he has no one to pass to.

Juve - Salzburg in Turin is still 0-0 at HT, which is helpful to us, although I expect Juve to go on and win that.

Some of these lads don't know how to win big games or how to deal with pressure.
You look at United or Chelsea etc
Some of these guys are under insane pressure, he's not giving some of them any time, this is it for them, they need to shine now, they need to treat every game like it's a final.

I mean how are some of these guys expected to play when they know Mancini hasn't any faith in them and doesn't rate them, they can't make a single mistake. It's not like the likes of Tevez or Hart, no matter how many mistakes or what bad form they hit, they'll always get their game. That's a lot of pressure and some players aren't used to coping under that kind of perssure when they know that can't afford to make a mistake.

Yet when the same situation arises elsewhere and the player has a blinder it's because it was his chance to show what he is made of and gets up for the game.

Shame also that the key mistake (2 of them) were made by Vieira who is supposed to be able to handle pressure.

Some players, yes, but like I said, some of them can't deal with pressure. And then on the other hand you've players like Given, who know no matter what they do they wont get their game. 90% of those players out there know that Mancini doesn't have faith in them.
And going out to play under that kind of pressure, well it's a bit much for some.

The great SWP again shows why he's a merc, bridge and richards quite possibly the worse fullbacks since edgill and fontzeck, and milner is starting to grate on me..... seriously letting bob and all the lads out their following us down.

The fee grated on me, he's a decent workhorse but nothing special in all honesty. We don't need both him and Barry IMO.
