Lee Carsley Has Resigned As U18 Coach.

Shame, he seemed to be doing a good job with the u18s. Presume he's got a managerial role lined up.

It's a difficult position managing the kids. Anyone with any ambition is going to want to manage at first team level. If they do well then they will be approached.
I don't know what city pay u18 manager but can't imagine it's more than championship or even league 1 level.
 
With Wolves and Brum being mentioned and him living in the West Midlands I can see why he's going, shame as he's done a good job here.

Chelsea are also losing their U18's coach, Adi Viveash, who's going to Swindon Town by all accounts.
 
I wonder if it has anything to do with our performance in the FA youth cup final? Chelsea seemed much better organised and composed.

In fact our 18's coach, Jody Morris, is continuing in post next season. It's our Development squad coach, Adi Viveash, who is leaving amid speculation that he will be appointed Swindon manager. Time will tell if that speculation is accurate, or just a lazy guess based on the fact that the job is vacant and that Adi is a former Town player.
 
At least we'll have a new club to loan kids to where the manager will actually back their ability and play them.
