last week i bought the new lee evans dvd, big at the o2.
was well disappointed with it. i love lee evans but this dvd was so boring, there were about 2 funny bits in the whole thing, (the bits that were shown on the advert)

does anyone know any decent comedians with dvds out now???

Worked for a computer company a few years ago, one of our US suppliers had Hicks as the call on hold message ! Quality !

I don't know if 'offend' is the right word, really. Hicks says to call a spade a fucking spade. He isn't, in the bits I've seen of him racist or sexist. "Straight talking" probably sums him up best. Look him up on youtube.
 
i havent got any standup dvds but three of the best ive seen live are:

dylan moran
richard herring
stewart lee


afaik there are a couple of dylan moran dvds available to buy (the tour i saw him on was called 'monster' and it was brilliant) also i think his standup shows have been shown on c4 recently.

richard herring has dvds available on his website (richardherring.com) i think he has a few clips on youtube if you want to see if its your sort of thing you might like

stewart lee is one of the cleverest stand ups around imo. look at these two you tube vids of a gig he did in glasgow where he first gets the crowd onside by being anti english then goes on to make a nonce out of their national hero.
