Would definitely have had Aké in over Mendy at left back. And probably Bernardo over Mahrez. But its a strong side.

Phil is more of a goal threat than Bernardo. Bernardo is always fabulous when played in the midfield three his workrate alone is phononemial. If Phil is playing in his proper role today of a central position I'll be happy let's see how he gets on.

He most certainly is, however, that is exactly what will expose Rodri.... there needs to be discipline in that role!

Foden was really poor last week and isn’t on Bernardos level just yet, despite the promise!

Don’t disagree with that but Fodens “recent” form has generally been very good and Bernardo has had 30 minutes in total this season. he’ll almost certainly get another 30 minutes today most probably for Foden unless one of the wingers puts in a shit performance and with no silva replacement both will get plenty of football. It’s good Squad management.

Excited to see Dias and Torres. Good to see Laporte back too. About as strong a team as we can put out apart from maybe Silva instead of Mahrez, as other have said. I think we will be up for it today. Should be a good game as Leeds won't put everyone behind the ball like other teams do.

Foden's ability to beat defenders will cause mayhem in Leeds man-for-man midfield marking system.

Should be the perfect game for Rodri too, this is what he was bought for, to be the guy who helps you beat the kamikaze press with those pinball passes and constant availability to help out.

For me the only negative is Mahrez, I don't think he's got the appetite for a game that's going to involve as much hard work as this one. Bernie for Mahrez I could get behind 100%.
