leeds away was a game city and fans never looked forward to ? the old school dirty leeds would kick the shit out of us and get away with it because the ref was shitting him self

leeds are unknown and still new the premier league and will offer a big challenge to city and pep, city need to stamp our game on them right from the start and not let them try and boss us, city are still short up front and will be looking to get sterling in one on ones and maybe KDB can find a killer shot

not a big win today ? but we should have enough chances, leeds will try and play out from the back and mistakes will happen, but like liverpool they will try to go over the top and bypass the midfield quickly and city back 4 has to be right on it and no silly free gifts

counter argument is against Leicester for example they have done us a few times, have we learnt?

I am surprised that you think City fans didn't look forward to playing Leeds. If that is what you meant. After the Derby, it was one I and my band of merry boys scribbled in bold in our diaries.
 
Hoping Pep does have a brain fart with this one, we need to be solid at the back on strong in attack.
Glad Laporte made his comeback in the week but who starts with him is key, myself I see no reason not to start with Dias.

Doubt it's just for Leeds.

We have been playing unbalanced, weakened teams since the restart last season (weakened by injuries plus selection) & have new players who have had no pre season & players returning from Covid & will be losing them to internationals in a couple of days, with no chance for training.

This suggests to me that Pep has started doing his proper job again after spending a few months impersonating Mel Machin.

Good news imo.

Has to pick his strongest team available and stick to it like we did for the most of 17-19. But you just know he’s gonna try something daft today in terms of his selection
