I got knicked before the game started there was a copper in our end giving it the biggun .I told him to calm down and told him i had been in the Navy longer than he been in the police oops schoolboy error .He was not amused and i got charged with threatening behavour & breach of the peace.After pitch invasion they put loads of Leeds in the holding cell where all City fans were .now that was hairy .Then the old bill plasticuffed each City fan to a Leeds fan for the journey to the police station .laugh about it now but not at the time

The mate I went with got arrested for thumping someone after the game. He got a £120 fine and was back in Moss Side only about an hour after me. Very efficient those coppers.

That's brilliant, loved seeing the City fans in the away end, whoever did that at Leeds had some balls so respect to you.

Me n my mate were in the away end at Valley Parade Bradford when Morley equalised, and that kicked off abit, I can't remember what year it was now it's that long.

I was at that game, Frank Newton who started the banana's craze got me a ticket and membership ( You needed both to get in ) in the seated stand that had been rebuilt after the fire. It was a home end but loads of Blue's in there, no mither. The Bradford end behind the goal though was a different matter, they attacked City fan's as soon as they came in. I remember the police kind of gathered them together and kept a presence there the whole game, but it was still kicking off here and there.

remember this game well, city had most of the lowfields side and 1/2 of the south stand, it was like the wild west after the game
