I met a lad from Leeds when I was at Poly and we are now mates for life. He grew up within a hundred yards or so of Elland Rd and as kid in the 70's used to hang out of his bedroom window and watch poor unfortunates get the shit kicked out of them in his front garden. His Mum worked in the souvenier shop for donkies til the PLC kicked her out to bring cheaper staff in. She took them on and won, and he did lose his love for a long time.

One of his mates got time for being part of a van full who waded into Utd on Oldham Rd once. Nice lad too. Social worker now, but didnt have much time for manyoo ;)
