With Leeds having sold out their 6000 allocation this morning, City have updated the Leeds Ticket news page on the OS

*
To supporters with existing purchase history. Existing purchase history is defined as a Blue membership or a match ticket for a game played at the Etihad Stadium purchased from the Club before 27th January 2013.

You are purchasing tickets which are located in stands which seat home fans only.

Our tickets have gone on open sale this morning so there's a good chance Leeds will be trying to buy in our end - interesting note on the OS about "home fans only" ?????

Same thing happens at every game, City fans in Stoke end the other week etc, the ones sitting our end wont be the hardcore either so doubt there will be any trouble.

I went to see Bristol city vs Leeds when I lived in Bristol, just for the sake of it. There were lots of leeds fans in the home stand that day, and quite a lot of trouble.

I think it has more to do with the nature of the home fans sat around them to be honest, but I saw one Leeds fan get sussed, and go to run down the stairs, taking punches all the way down. Two leeds fans also jumped onto the pitch to run into the leeds fans.

I don't imagine this would happen at our place though. I think those leeds fans just picked the wrong stand(s) to sit in.

I've not seen that to be the case to be honest. East Stand/South Stand maybe even most of the first tier the way round, but as soon as you get second tier onwards I don't think that'd be the case. In the past I've seen plenty of opposition fans get sussed in the CB stand. Granted I don't go nearly as regularly as I could when I lived in Manchester, so things may have changed

I imagine there will be plenty of Leeds fans in the corporate areas - it's that type of game where favours get called in etc.

I am in a box for this game and we have 5 Leeds fans in there with us......and 5 Blues to keep them in check and take the piss out of them when we batter them on the pitch!

We had a Spurs "lad" who sat in the CB 2nd tier with us 3 seasons ago when we were both playing for champs league spot - He first of all sat in an old man's season ticket seat, when asked to move he didn't do it graciously , then he jumped in a seat just up the row.- we had clocked he was spurs earlier on and when he "went up" after a near miss those around him (flat caps & driving gloves) went for him - the steward tried to ask him to come for a chat but he wouldn't so they sent for the "boiler suit stewards" , the ones a level above the showsec goons - the spurs guy went out fighting and it got quite messy - it took 5 or 6 of the security guys to get him out - he also got arrested for assault.
