I'd agree with that back four but Cancelo actually was our top ranked player today on whoscored.com so perhaps he did more good things in the game than people think.

Always remember your posts from years back. You always said don’t make too many changes at the back! The Ake/Mendy combo was madness.

What if we win Wed? Are we going to keep playing these weakened line ups around CL games ?

With respect, Bill makes it quite clear every week that he would play the strongest line up and make no changes even if it meant the same 11 for the whole season.
That kind of thinking is so outdated I’m shocked anybody still comes out with it.

Warning shot today to Pep - he has to be careful, I expect the Rags to win tomorrow and the gap to be 8 points when they win their game in hand.
Villa & Palace tricky games but good thing is they don't have anything to play for, however the 4 after that against Chelsea, Newcastle, Brighton & Everton are the games when the opposition will have things to play for.
History tells us that an 8 point lead with 6 games to go can go horribly wrong.
