What was that about Sterling wamting as much $$ as Kev?
He needs to be sold in the summer because this not a one off performance no more it is been all season and even the blue tinted spec brigade must see that he is nowhere near the player he was .

Sterling is one of the highest paid players at the club. It is 100% right we should expect the very best from him 9 times out of 10. The reality is, he plays 1 good game in 10 and that is simply not good enough. The club is not getting what it is paying for by a long way.
You are hugely over-reacting. 1 in 10? Madness. Probably closer to 1 in 5, even in a poor spell.
I agree Sterling has been playing below his level this season, but 3 world class seasons on the bounce before that mean nothing?

People love to shit on Sterling.

Do you know who else was shit today? Bernardo Silva. João Cancelo. Basically everyone except Stones...
They are all paid top dollar. But Sterling takes the lion's share of the criticism. Every. Time.

Shite. Never been so tired of watching a ball being passed from side to side without a single player being willing to drop a shoulder, dribble, run past a player etc.

Its actually comical sterling wants more money he's stealing 250k pw at his current rate.
Fair do's mate.Stones was shoulder-dropping and dribbling all game.He was our best attacker AND defender today.

Pep needs to stop sucking Bielsa's dick and man the fuck up, that line up was never getting a victory today. Sell Sterling, Mendy and Jesus and let's get a couple of strikers and a left back in this summer. Inexcusable that shitshow today against ten fucking men

The thing is, I should know better because its always the same names.

Go back to the Pep thread in November and you'll see the overlap between people saying Guardiola should be sacked and he's been found out/lost the dressing room are exactly the same people having a massive hissy fit because we lost our second game in 6 months.

Same people who wanted Gundogan sold etc.

And unfortunately they shout the loudest, try and outdo each other with the most extreme comments and then abuse anyone not having a temper tantrum.

Everyone knew going into this game its by far our least important of the 8 game period its in (Dortmund-Leeds-Dortmund-Chelsea FA cup semi-Villa-CL semi-Spurs cup final-CL semi). Everyone saw the massively roated lineup. How can you be that surprised when the team is well below normal levels?
Genuinely astonishing to me that this needs spelling out. Of our generally agreed current best 11, 3 started today. If we'd started Gundo or Kev or Foden and one had got injured, can you imagine how fuming everyone would be.

Of course we deserve to win the league, but we haven't yet. If Spurs win tomorrow I won't give a fuck about this game.

I would have taken a draw before kick off. Hell, I'd have taken one at half time. But to dominate and lose like that to 10 men is ridiculous, and it could have been avoided if Pep had made better changes, and earlier.

And if Gundogan, Foden or KDB had come on after 50 minutes and been injured youd be screaming and shouting about Pep making the wrong decision to bring them on.

Too many changes , 4 or 5 i can understand but changing 7 players is over the top there is zero continuity , the Zinchenko experiment in midfield did'tn work , he's called little Kev for a reason , a good left back and that is all.

We know why we lost. We played a weakened team but when you play a weakened team you have to put 1-2 players out who can beat a man when you know they will defend penalty area. Really Mahrez should have been on on the hour mark and we'd have won that. Instead we've lost.

Does it matter? Probably not.
