Front six lots of pace and energy which is needed today. Defence looks okay good to see Ake back. 3-1 City
 
Bit concerned with this team. Leeds are a quick hard working team and we have a team that has barely played together. But so many times this season Pep has been proved right so hopefully there are no problems.
 
We should have a game today with the changes, enthusiastic players who need a game, thinking Pep happy to take a chance or two in the league, bench waiting to step in if it's tight late on.
If he had gone big it would be pass -pass-pass but can't see many subs if all goes well.
Match thread will be entertaining and a decent half time read.

It’s not mad though. The only way to rest KDB, Foden and Gundogan was to play Zinchenko in midfield, which then automatically meant Mendy playing left back so we could rest one of Walker or Cancelo. Laporte’s injury meant Ake had to start, and Dias’ recent game time meant Stones starting. So the back 6 outfield players pretty much picked themselves (with Fernandinho). Then Bernardo was the first to be subbed off in the last match, so it makes sense that he was the chosen big-hitter midfielder to take the last midfield spot. Aguero’s injury meant Jesus up top was a given, with Sterling and Torres the two wingers that didn’t start v Dortmund coming in. When you break it down it is the absolute perfect team for the game. Whether we win, lose or draw is irrelevant, it’s still the correct team.
