IF they ever did come back all we'd get is :

"where were you ........."

oh can't be arsed[/quote

Exactly where they are now.... It's banter mate...

I have to listen to that shit every time City play....... from divs who have no clue and believe what they sing or who were never there when their own club were shit.

It gets right on mi tits

Mini rant

Fair rant, it's their ignorance though laugh at them. Everyone 'true' football fan knows what City have been through. Clubs like Forest, Wednesday, Leeds etc all been there too, they know the score. Rise above it.

Well, if it comes from the likes of Cardiff, Norwich, Stoke, Fulham, West Brom, Hull, Palace or Swansea, then the best retort would be "We got more than you get now!" (based on this seasons average PL attendances), Newcastle were getting far less in the second tier than we got in the third. Same with Saints in both second and third.
That's nearly half the league sorted out!

Now turns out the the "owner" doesn't actually own the club yet and may not pass the Fit & Proper Persons Test as he's got a fraud conviction.
Yet they were signing/trying to sign players up until the deadline last night. Bi-fucking-zarre.

The words "piss-up" and "brewery" come to mind.
Couldn't have put it better myself.

Leeds statement -

"The club would like to make it clear that Brian McDermott remains our first team manager. He has not been dismissed from his post as has been suggested and we look forward to him continuing in his role with us in taking Leeds United forwards."

Funny old game.

FFS

I thought we were always the best at ballsing it all up but I have to say LUFC have been far more creative than any one club has the right to be over the last 10 years. Undoubtedly they could write the book ........... foreward by Peter Ridsdale of course - the Yoda of that sort of thing

So Brian still the boss of Leeds . What a shambles it reminds me of 1996 when Francis Lee was in charge of City .

FHL was a legend as a player for us. As a chairman, however, that old saying ''he couldn't run a bath'' springs to mind. Which is odd considering he was a very successful businessman.
