I now live between Leeds & Bradford everybody on my street supports the Scum of Trafford, even the guy at the local take away is scum, as are the 2 shopkeepers in the 2 local shops nearby.

They fucking hate me as I refuse to acknowledge them as anything but sad, desperate glory hunters, the funny thing is they don't like anything from "the red rose county", even though I always remind them how close the swamp is to Lancashire County Cricket ground.

I wear my City shirt as often as I can just to wind them up.

My next door neighbour has a Scum shirt, a Real Madrid shirt, a Juventus shirt and an LA Galaxy shirt, he can't even look me in the eye any more.

Last time Lancashire had a 50 over game at Headingley I saw some young men in red football shirts chanting yaaarsshiire. Can't get my head around it.

It's the same with the rugby, they're either Bradford Bulls or Leeds Rhinos supporters but when it comes to footy they're strictly Scum.

I really doubt they understand what irony is,

They bring a good crew with them and they make some noise.

Rather have them in the prem than the likes of Stoke.

I have come across some Bradford Bulls who support the scum but no rag loving Rhinos.

Selby is the same. Rugby is Rhinos or Castleford here. Football? Well adults tend to be Rags. You do see more and more kids wearing City shirts though.

It surprises me that Leeds home support is poor . For a 1 team City they should be getting at least 30,000 fans . Its no wonder the club is going down the drain and nobody wants to invest in them .

I survived 3 away trips to Leeds in the 70's and came back unscathed just.

I never understood why they only had 3 floodlights then at Elland Road.

I used to work in a place called Morley,out of the 80 odd lads who worked there,there was about 5 or 6 Leeds fans,me and a Huddersfield fan,all the rest were rags.
