Leeds United (A) | PL | Post Match Thread

The booing was entirely from leeds fans, mainly those behind the goal nearest us. Leeds fans have a notoriously bigoted fanbase and therein lies the answer

The break must have lasted 30 seconds tops, Leeds players were taking on water as well which they will have needed with the intensity they started the game. Had a look on some of the socials and the comments look like another Reform U.K. pile on. We are really going backwards as a country.

Could they not wait till half time?
Irrespective of anyone's moral/religious views on this (FWIW I think it was absolutely fine to allow it and worry about the motivations of some who don't), if they hadn't, Donnarumma would have gone down 'injured' in the 12th minute allowing it to happen anyway.

This was a more clear and transparent solution IMO.

Also, if the games were all at 3pm or 8pm it wouldn't be an issue either way.

The press in this country again telling you that they are racist without telling you that they are racist.

Fans booing during you'll never walk alone at klanfield, tragedy chanting and not okay by the daily fail. Fans booing during players breaking fast during a religious festival, pep making a big deal out of nothing.

Exactly . pep didnt make a big deal of it, The press asked him about it in his press conference . Both the tv. and written press.

You should have seen the match thread.

The reaction from some was disgusting.
Reaction about the refreshment break or about the performance. That thread has always been a shitstain inhabited largely (but not entirely) by cunts, and to a large extent by cunts who have never got off their arse and gone to a game

I checked this out and the Muslim prayer for sundown was pretty much this exact point of time, signifying the end of fasting. So it was probably a case of "get it done ASAP" for the players. I'd feel the same if I'd gone all day with no food or water.

Forest were the same, it’s years of media bias against us that causes it. “How dare City win” is basically it. We see it with signings too. Guehi is the best bit of business any Premier League club has done for fucking ages, yet we had lies about his wages and a general sense of “how can they do this with 115 charges” fucking bollocks. It’s like we’re not allowed to compete. It’s the same reason the thick, Yorkshire twats called us cheats today.
I only wish both of them could be relegated

A weird start to the game with City deliberately inviting the press from a standing start and then losing the ball on 2-3 occasions.
That's what happens when you start passing to O'Reilly's/Bernardo's/Ait Nouri's right foot

Fun and games trying to get into the toilet at Half Time and then discovering that the three urinal spaces to my left were all vacant, with the smokers blocking the route and causing all the funneling
Funneling? We used to use a rolled-up newspaper.

Hahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa honestly we`ve got tickets to see him next Feb at The Lowry. Has a bloody sell out wherever he`s appearing.
Been lucky enough to see him 3 times in the last 4 years, at various size venues.
He is a talented bloke who seems bigger now, than he ever has been...

Break.

It looked like posts were even removed.

That's when it's broken, doesn't mean they have to eat that very minute.
I'm not religious at all. But by heck if I'd gone all day without food, water or a drink of any kind, I'd not be in a fit state, never mind play an intense game of football. Fair fcuks to all of them, in any religion ( think there is something similar with Judaism) to be able to go all day takes some doing. I don't begrudge them a break, I'd say it was needed.
