Leeds United (A) | PL | Post Match Thread

I know my point of view might seem petty and it was only a short break but people's religious and political views should be kept out of football. There's plenty of shit going on in the world and watching the game is a form of escapism for me so keep the aforementioned topics out of the game.
Petty is one word for it, I guess.

Am I missing something? Why does he take off Marmoush every single game? The lad puts a shift in. And today replaces him with Savinho, ffs. Makes no sense whatsoever. Still, a hard fought three points.

Marmoush has a habit of fading in the 2nd half even on his better days.

Perfect summary of them. I was there when the Cool Cats ran them all over. A myth. I was there as a little kid when we took over the ground in 1976 in the cup. They are myth.

I agree though they were a force at home like most teams because they usually have greater numbers. At the cup game we were given more tickets i think so it evened it up.

Every ground in the country boos when there is a break. We boo when there’s a stoppage we don’t understand. They didn’t announce it before hand apparently so may have thought we were time wasting.

I am more annoyed at the Yorkshire cunts singing cheats at us, the thick cunts siding with what they call “the scum” without realising.
There was a message on the screen, LU aggreed to it and Leeds is not a city uncustom to Islam. It's not that they went for a prayer, just wanted to take some water and energy jellies. I am sure the whistling went on from the section of LU fans BECAUSE OF the message. Pricks!

An excellent effort on and off the pitch where we actually gave back to Leeds exactly what they do to others. The booing re the water break took me back to seeing a banana hurled at Viv Richards at Headingley and the Nazis selling Bulldog in the City centre.
As a fan of Cherki it was an honour to see him dissect the Leeds defence time and time again after his water break.
They are wankers. Always have been. Always will be.

If there had been no mention of Ramadan on the scoreboard, the drinks break wouldn't have been noticed at all. Can we please not act like this has sullied the game.

This is really not a story. We all survived Kaka belonging to Jesus, we'll survive Muslim players breaking their Ramadan fast for 2 minutes.

It was the game thar we all expected, a hard fought win.

The back four and Rodri were incredibly good, Marc Guehi is a serious talent, Ruben Dias showed a display of his former self and Nunes is turning out to be one of the best right backs in the league.

Doku and Savinho need to take note of what Semenyo is doing, breaking his neck to get into the box and get into goalscoring positions, Semenyo timing of being in the right place is excellent, in a full Premier League season he could easily get 15+ goals for is which would be huge.

Get in.
