Have to agree, footie results been crap this match week and feels like we’ve been waiting forever for our game

Grealish got tonnes of abuse last season. He took it in his stride and I think alot of the fans actually enjoyed the banter. He is a very likable Lad. Hope he rips the shit out of them
 
We were very open against Liverpool so we need to be much better defensively this evening. Can’t afford to give the crowd any sort of encouragement. It would be good to silence the crowd early with a quick goal or two.We need to be incisive and clinical and make it feel like a long night for Leeds.

Hopefully Haaland will enjoy himself at one of his father’s old clubs. He already has a hat trick against Forest…

Actually,I think we can get away it with against Leeds. But I completely agree. It's worrying. I thought both Liverpool goals were soft, honestly. On one of them (the second, I think) nobody in the City defence seemed to be acquainted with the concept “Marking”.
I'm pretty sure we can score a hatful of goals this season. As many as any other of the recent seasons. Maybe more, with the Viking machine up front. What I'm far less sure about is the discipline in defence of previous seasons. Not easy to explain, given that we've a better range of options in central defence (five good players!) than I can ever remember City having.
We will not win the league if we can't get more clean sheets.
