That’s the ticket, we have a huge run of games coming up, Pep has to get time into the players who haven’t played much and keep the squad refreshed, it’s not an easy job but I think he’s entitled to unconditional respect based on his record.

Never can get too excited by that midfield combo, always feels a bit too slow for me. Likewise on the wings with Mahrez/Grealish. No real pace in this side tonight.

Love Gundo but him playing does mean we have less legs in the middle to counter the counter.

Ilkay is a fabulous football player but some games he is not suited too. Especially against teams who wait for a mistake and counter with pace.
