First season was in the championship back in 00, seen shit myself. I can just imagine you, sat there like “oh well we once played York away” when it went 2-2. Yawn.
Ok

Accepting reality rather than living in a dream world. I'll take that. And your response demonstrates how prepared you are to accept such situations
We are very weak out of possession esp in midfield. Are we supposed to be pressing?A win is a win but fortunate that Leeds decided a draw was job done because we were that bad second half I think they could have won that with a bit more ambition.
Nunes, O’Reilly and Gvardiol were dreadful second half. Donna had his worst game too.
We certainly don’t like teams pressing us hard,
There was a bit of me that thought we’d scored too early, givrn the lack of control we had in the second half. With the length of time the cunts added on. it seemed like we scored halfway through the second half. The Leeds capt wasted the second half away single handed)

Didn't we sign one of them but never play himNeed a proper RB and at least 1 new CB, not a small slow ball playing defender, someone who can win headers and has pace
He sure didI’ll oblige. Nunes has been class all season. Yes he fucked up today but I think he’s been one of the few players this season who has been quality in virtually every game.
He provided a good assist today and he’s improving to the point where I’m happy he’s our first choice right back.
With people like you we'd still be living in cavesAccepting reality rather than living in a dream world. I'll take that.
That second half was definitely shit.
The old paper book season tickets.
And forget this oneJob done. Move on to the next one.
I agree 100% but normally we will have a couple of corners to deal with BUT as he is so weak at them teams are going for corners when they can, and team like Newcastle kept putting them virtually under his bar and he clearly struggles... get our defence to learn and TRY and protect him by letting them cross in CERTAIN situations...i.e. when they just have to fling one in without much thought as we will not try and block it and concede a cornerActually, although I agree about the crosses - I think Donnarumma's the best change we've made. A brilliant signing.
But with that defence, we could have him and Ederson in there together and eventually we'd still be found out.
Thought we did today?Just seen barcodes goal from a corner, why can’t we do that?
Football isn’t consistent, clubs aren’t consistent and nothing lasts forever. It could be argued that the complacency demonstrated in the post is the root of the problem
Roll us your cap grandad. The old paper book season tickets.
“Half time draw tickets” outside the ground
Claremont road, I remember it all.
It was quite alarming to see the players running over to Pep to get instructions less than 15 minutes into the second half with Donna pretending to be injured. All too easy first half and we were deservedly 2nil up . However we should have been 4 up ! Complacency set in again in the 2nd half with some terrible defending again just like at Newcastle last week . Great character shown to win the game with a late one from Phil .
Still loads of room for improvement and we somehow look “leggy” imho .
Take the win all day long CTID
