Leeds United (H) | PL | Post Match Thread

we haven't got players with vision, that's a huge problem, or players who can hold a man off and re set the ball..its like ping pong with a 'super ball' remember them rubber things that bounced everywhere..... It's all down to buying gash 'fancy dan' type players who can no way cut it like that in the prem..Pace and Power wins the race in todays game..look at big 'erl...but you need willing runners in midfield with a pace and power too, we haven't got that..Rodri is huge miss but i fear = Colin Bell esque end for him
I Agree its no coincidence we dont win many second balls. I dont have a clue what we are going to do, the drop off is scary.

Calvert-Lewin caused nsyhem
Second half from valls over the top !
Haaland starved , why csnt we okay to his same strengths??

I am currently confused by City. Some times I see them getting back to their old style and tempo, sometimes it is clearly the refs being consistently against us during a single game, yet others we are shooting ourselves in the foot. Some players dont have the consistency we need. Doku was brilliant, for a few games though. Reijnders blows hot and cold. These players need to step up, not just those two tbh.

Certainly I dont think we have that backbone yet, the cahoones. If the opposition get a sniff of getting back into the game we are like - there you go. So we need the right attitude, we need attitude tbh.

Ruben's level has dropped so much over the last 12 months. DCL looked good against him.

Not sure what his issue is? Too much of the celebrity life?
Beto bullied the fuck out of him at The Etihad a few weeks ago too. Doesn't take much these days.

Doesn't help having Nunes at right back and a centre back beside him that's afraid to put himself about.

How you can watch that collapse and think it has anything to do with structure/tactics/Pep is incredible.

The defence gifted them a goal and then the whole team lost their bottle.

First half was one of our most dominant performances all season, they weren't lacking sharpness or rhythm then.
Our defence keeps giving the opposition goals and that Pep's problem in that he has not sorted it

Theres a very distinct lack of tactics to be fair

Everyone takes a thousand touches, allows pressure and stands like statues or up a teammates hole

I’ll oblige. Nunes has been class all season. Yes he fucked up today but I think he’s been one of the few players this season who has been quality in virtually every game.
He provided a good assist today and he’s improving to the point where I’m happy he’s our first choice right back.
And there was that other fuck up against Brighton.

I'm sure he was class in that game too apart from that 1 moment

Centre backs simply aren’t good enough.
We’d get away with one of them if we had a Vinny next to them but we simply don’t.

Maybe it’s time to admit Dias just isn’t the player he hoped he would become, isn’t the same player he was and we need to look at replacing him.
