Anyone with long memories remember when Leeds under Don Revie started wearing those numbered sock ties (around 72-73) ? Then they also started lining up on the halfway line before kick off wearing their individually-named tracksuit tops and gave an orchestrated wave to the crowd - even at away games. Somewhat arrogant and gauntlet-throwing I always felt.

Yes I do remember this. Also remember it used to always kick off at both Elland Rd and Maine Rd. it got very tasty indeed

Ha, that's good advice at any time of the season tbqh!

But I don't mean to panic anyone, but there will be people dozens if not hundreds of people who catch it tonight who in the best case scenario won't be seeing family on Christmas day. My partner's cousin in London has got it, and she's fine, but there's a lot of it about at the moment.

I'm still coming tonight, I'm thrice jabbed and have already had it, but anyone who wants to still come tonight but be careful should get in early and avoid crowded indoor spaces.

I would avoid Asda too and stay home and clad up the windows and doors
