Without Cancelo or Walker we don’t have anyone very fast in a defensive role so we could, I suppose, be seen to be open to the opposition getting in behind our high line.
I’m intrigued by this as IMO it means that we’ll either sit deeper than usual to constrict the space behind, and hit them on the break, or push right up and try to totally suffocate them to stop anything being hoofed over our back line.
Just my poorly informed guesswork, of course, but I’m very much looking forward to see how Pep sets us up when both of our rearguard speed merchants are out of the side.
