Absolutely, and it’s disappointing on here to see so many people zoning in on the penalty rather than focusing on praising a brilliant all round performance and two precisely placed and beautifully taken goals. That’s the real story of this match.

Gundo. Seems to get better by the season. His composure and experience in big moments and how he reads the game is up there will some all timers like Pirlo and Modric...

Mr Whippy really was superb today, but I think it’s fair to say his game was massively helped by young Rico Lewis. I was really pleased watching Rico today, his running off Gundogan, constantly offering him an option for a pass suggested great intelligence and awareness for such a young player.

Gundo the star man regardless of the penalty miss. He’s a class act and he showed it again today. Shout outs for Rico and for Laporte both of whom haven’t featured much recently but put in great performances.

He played really well in the 1st half and the finish for his first goal was top class

An absolute footballing masterclass from Gundo but sadly not a penalty taking one. Ran the game though like few players have ever managed.

Rico had a good game, but after Ake went off and he moved over he wasn't as good for me.

Voted for Gundogan, but hopefully that is his last penalty.
