Forest haven't been a big club since the early 80s. Ditto for Villa.
Both of them have fickle fans who soon die away when the results don't go their way and both haven't won a trophy for around a quarter of a century.

I am 64 years old.
Semi finals of CL was 2001 which is almost 20 years ago. (2 decades).
They are the very epitome of a small club who think they are a big club.

They are now what City were 20 years ago before the move to COMS.
Smallish ground,no trophies for many,many years,not alot of money for transfers but with a hardcore of loyal fans (around 30k).
So given those facts it is logical to conclude they are about 20 years behind City.

They hate the rag shit almost as much as I do so they're ok with me. Got a few mates who are Leeds fans so pleased for them. Nothing against the club except when we play them, same as any other, apart from the two dirty red ones.

Arguing about any side that's about to replace not worth it ! As a one team city the boost to the economy alone is immense

They deserve it over the last two seasons. All the Leeds fans I meet like City. The old days are done and dusted.

It was the 1st question asked here years ago, City or Utd , Utd was not an option!

I’m not sure that Forest are a big club.

They are basically in the position they were when the greatest British manager took over there in the mid '70s - mid table second tier club.

It was only the genius of Brian Clough, with Peter Taylor, that enabled them to have that great era.
