whatever you do, avoid Oceana !

bars down by the Corn Exchange are good - similar to those in NW, but without pretentious tw@ts.

Alea Casino is v good.
Greek Street is worth a look early doors - always busy, but not the best bars (Living Room etc).

dry dock is a good pub though i am going back about 10 years.

i go out most weekends - oceana is full of bellends - theres a weatherspoons at train station always pop in there for a couple - then go to vodka revs or bourbon, similar but bourbon is cheaper - then clubs later on there is space http://www.leedsclubscene.co.uk/the-space/ but my favourite is stinkys peephouse http://stinkyspeephouse.co.uk/ never had a bad night in there, never seen any fights or out - the birds are proper tasty but not stuck up - plus is stays open till 6am so its good - then on a saturday night theres uber at 'mission' then stinkys peephouse re-opens at 9am on sunday
