we either need to bring in a young (17,18,19) player or an old player (30+) Kolarov and Clichy are similar ages and both want to play regular football whereas a younger player would learn off clichy then take his place in 2/3 years time or an older player wouldnt mind not playing as much and teach clichy to be even better than he already is

There's not many English talents coming through right now that could be deserving of a place in our team any time soon. Luke Shaw is one of the few. Even if Kolarov stayed i'd like to see us snap up Shaw and leave him at Southampton playing regularly in the prem for a season or two.
