…Is the correct answer. Pep likes a challenge to triumph over adversity .
Is that why he's gone from Barca to Bayern to us?
He definitely enjoys the challenge but I'd struggle to call it adversity.

I really hope we didn't push Zinchenko out of the door just to get egg on our face with this transfer fiasco.Sorry, yeah, I'm not picking up on your post per se, but if people are getting frustrated that we sold our only back up left back (who, whether the stats bear it out or not, was certainly less prone to the stand still ole tackle that is Cancelos raison d'être), I can totally understand, and my personal feeling is he was overall a slightly better defender.
All in all, i think we all probably agree that we need a fucking left back!!
Zinny wanted to leave, Arsenal are his club, it was what he wanted.I really hope we didn't push Zinchenko out of the door just to get egg on our face with this transfer fiasco.
Lighten up it's nearly weekendOr..
5. None of the above
In case you forgot at the end of last season, our back line was ravaged, so Zinchenko going does make us weaker a bit. Our starting 11 is the best in the world bar non, but to win everything which is what Pep want# we need the best 22/24I don't get the flapping, do we need a left back? Yes. Are we in a significantly worse position that last year if we don't get one? No.
Walker and Cancelo are comfortable playing RB and LB respectively. We have basically swapped Zinchenko for JWE. He is not as proved and a completely different type of player being pacey and at a guess nowhere near as comfortable or experienced on the ball as Zin was. He will give us a different dimension overlapping out wide and having pace. If we go into this season as we are our cover is a bit less experienced and a bit lighter than it was last season our starting 11 is stronger.
With Ake as experienced cover too if we need it I think we will be fine
The idea is about balance.Ake at lb is shit. He is zero creativity. No idea why everyone keeps bringing it up. Pep would rather play him as a goal keeper. Foden and grealish as LB.. what I am reading. Has everyone gone crazy?!

The won the treble the year before Pep turned up and 9 points clear in the Jan when he took it.People forget that when Pep accepted the Bayern job, Dortmund had just won back to back titles and hadn't won the CL since 2001.
