It seems we can all agree that the full backs need replacing, and right back looks like it will be Boateng's posistion but who would you prefer at Left Back?
I dont think we will be able to attract big names like Lahm, Cole etc. but then who.
That Luiz kid we are being linked with sounds good but i personally dont like the idea of a CB playing left back, i would prefer a real left back for example Kolorov.
What do you think?

this is a key area I feel that the quicker it is filled by a specialist player the better. The truth is that there are many left backs out there that are better than the ones currently on the books, so it really shouldn't be too difficult to improve this situation. I hope they are loking out for a gifted young English left back, as English players are at a premium and we can save the foreign signings for the rarer kind of player like creative midfielders and strikers.

Lahm. Can play right back or left back but is naturally a left back. Would obviously be difficult to get him but then as far as I know German clubs have wage caps so no doubt we could pay him a shit load more than Bayern do. Would definitely be worth a go.

Bump.

With all this talk of left backs, I googled best left backs in the world. It seems Cancelo and Robertson vi for the honour. Where are all the decent bloody left backs and what league are they hiding in. It does seem to be a position that doesn't produce many world class that can defend and attack and are technically capable.

(Cancelo must have googled the same thing and is behaving according to his stature).

ps. looking back, David Luiz?????
