Then we should play him. I wonder why Pep doesn’t.Three of that 4 play for three of the biggest teams in football. Left back is notoriously difficult to get quality in, none of them have a reason to sell.
Having a bit of a purple patch at Brighton but Cucurella may be a warning.
Gomez joined because we needed someone who can play the position, was available, came with a raving review from Kompany that extended beyond just his on the pitch capabilities and has been nowhere near as bad as some want to make out. He is an attacking LB, he will give the ball away, he will miss a tackle, everyone does.

Like most players we sign, Pep is coaching them into what he wants.Then we should play him. I wonder why Pep doesn’t.
In 12mths we might have our very own version of Theo Hernandez. A young LB, full Spanish international, flying up the wing and grabbing 15 assists a season just off crosses to big Erl up top.

He got injured and since returning, Otto has started some games. Probably because the manager thought he did well enough during the time Ai-Nouri wasn't available. That's generally how it works at a lot of football clubs.
