Left Backs

Incidentally, is Benjy Mendy back at the club and training or has he been permanently suspended?
 
So we officially will not have a senior player who is a left back by trade.
The only one since Kolarov left is Mendy.
Delph, Zinchenko, Cancelo have all done a decent job.
So it will be Ake who fills in now. That's ok as we have cover at CB.
However if Ake gets injured we will have problems.

If Ake gets injured then Laporte plays and if he gets injured then Gomez plays. Gomez has had a rough start, we all know this but maybe a run of games and some confidence and we will have a player there.

well atleast it is better than cancelo playing with him and taking up his space
