Legends Stadium and Club Tour

We had to arrive for 11.45am. I think we were due to get back from Carrington at 4.30ish but it was nearer to 5.30 in the end.
Brilliant, this has won me over, think I'll definitely book when I get my next pay!

I went on the Legends Tour with Alex Williams yesterday, it was really good.
We were taken to Carrington at 12 noon by a very posh mini bus with leather seats and blacked out windows!

Kitman Les Chapman showed us round and was really good fun. All staff at Carrington were very friendly towards our party and we got to see Jack Rodwell and coach Fausto Salsano.

Back at the Etihad we had a nice meal in a box then a tour of the Etihad, directors box, Connell Club, dressing rooms, tunnel and pitchside.

We were allowed to take as many photos as we wanted both at Carrington and Etihad especially with the premiership trophy.

Book the whole afternoon out (12-5pm)as that's about how long our tour lasted.

It cost £120 per person, might seem a bit expensive but it is worth it, especially if you are a big City fan and you do get a lot for your money (and if you are coming over from Australia it would be a shame to miss out). I hear Mike Summerbee is another legend they use for the tours.

Saw a review in the Evening News by one of the reportors ,he was very positive about it

Yeah my thoughts exactly, just hoping there'll still be spots available come my next pay day because I'm a little strapped at the moment! Would be thrilled to have Summerbee but really any of them would be fantastic, and no doubt a great learning experience.

I went on the tour with Alex the other with my son and had a great time.

Alex was really good and open to questions about everything. Chappy was also really funny and the tour of Carrington was fascinating. Food in the exec box was great. To me though the real star of the show was the main guide Diane. Her knowledge and love of the club was obvious to everybody and to see her on the video celebrating when Sergio scored was brilliant. In general the tour is much better than when I did it years ago when the stadium first opened.

I went on the tour with Richard Edghill in August, and really enjoyed it. He was a good lad and came across well, with plenty of stories. The food was nice as you'd expect, and it was interesting to have a nosey round Carrington (sadly Chappy wasn't there went I went though). Definitely recommend it.
