We'll need pace in defence against Leicester because Vardy is capable of absolutely destroying Kolarov, but now they don't have Kanté or Drinkwater, who'll actually pass to Vardy in the first place?
For me our team on Tuesday points to a three at the back on Saturday. To be honest I don't see how playing Maffeo could do anything but improve our defence at this point.

Bravo
Sagna Stones Kolarov
Sterling Sané
Gundogan Fernando
Silva De Bruyne
Iheanacho

We have the best away record in the league, which six months ago would've sounded insane to me. We need to beat Leicester because they're awful.

Okazaki's playing the full 90 tonight which suggests that yet again he won't start in the EPL, which I honestly think is Ranieri's biggest mistake this season- never plays Okazaki despite all the evidence being that Leicester are a better team when he starts.

Hope I'm wrong but have a foreboding about this game on Saturday, don't know why just see us again missing gilt edged chances and being sucker punched, even though Leicester have been shit..

Seems to be how almost all of our games are going at the moment, we just seem incapable of finishing chances.

People call out our defending but really if we'd put away even one more chance per game we'd be top and about 8 points better off.

They've been good at home though. Only lost once

Good result for us tonight! I can only see another scrappy away game, tbh. 2-1 City, but not expecting an inspiring performance. Hope I'm wrong.

This all day long , Pep accepts the way we play will leave us exposed at times but we have missed dozens of very easy chances over the last few games , only one team has beaten us fair and square this season Spuds away , even Barca struggled when we had eleven men on the pitch.Very confident if we take just half our chances on Saturday we will blow Leicester away

Surprised you prefer Kolarov to Clichy based on recent form

Take your pick both are as bad as each other. It's become very disheartening to see what we have to choose from. I actually feel sorry for Stones, he's not exactly surrounded by quality and its not surprising he's making the odd mistake.

I'm not sure you can separate the two. Teams know that they will get chances against our defence. So even when trailing they dont give up, they keep making the blocks, getting back into position. 1-0 is not a winning score for City. The 2nd goal against Boro and Chelsea would probably have seen the game off but, to some extent, the dodgy defending contributes to not getting the 2nd goal.

We are approaching the half way point in the season and we haven't got a clue how we will perform.

Everybody expects us to concede goals and miss chances, bloody hell Leicester have only won 3 matches so we should not be concerned.

The truth is the chopping and changing in personnel has got us all confused, it's a wonder we are not all basket cases by now.

Now that Morgan and Huth aren't allowed to just grab players by the waist from corners, surprise surprise, they're awful at defending set-pieces. We could take advantage of that with the near-post flick-on that worked so well at Palace and Burnley. If we win this then at least one of the three above us will likely drop points and if we can move up a place then it's a successful weekend.

The Kevin Reeves near-post flick-on :-) Like that.

I've a feeling Pep will throw another curve ball and not play Kelechi from the start

Drinkwater suspended on Saturday anyway :-)

That's massive news actually, Drinkwater has been the only player to continue his performances from last year and he basically is their midfield and the crucial player in their counterattacks too.

Another dogged performance like we have seen at palace and Burnley. I also think pep won't be starting with a out and out cf. love to just see us get to a comfortable 2-0 lead seems like every game near enough has been on a knife edge mainly due to us not being able to finish our dinner.

I'm not confident for this one. Don't rate Leicester and expect us to have 70% possession plus but the way we play is ideal for them to play us on the counter with the pace of Vardy. Think we will need to score 3 to win.
