A win and three points....I'd almost forgotten what it feels like. For once all the luck went our way and two.players who desperately needed a goal got one. Also a rare clean sheet, though fuck knows how.
Absolutely nothing else mattered but the win today. Hopefully with players back from injury and please God a couple of world class additions we can kick on in the second half of the season.

Not as simple as that as the other side of the coin is RIco Lewis (although he did well at the end with his header) and heaping unnecessary pressure on the youth ranks.

All though saying KDB is finished need to remember he always takes 4 or 5 games to get his radar back, he was involved in both goals and finally got 90 minutes under his belt.

Still got the best to come from him.

Clean sheet was most important aspect of today.

Green shoots of recovery in the last two games for me. 6 days rest before West Ham and then 7 more before Salford means we can get some proper energy back into the squad, hopefully a new name or two too.

None of them are. I still maintain that we’ve sucked up the first half of the season as Pep wants them all fit for the CWC and that the club have prioritised that this season.

Players just constantly changing and being ‘injured’ for 2-3 weeks at a time seems too simplistic an excuse.

I hope we’re going in a big run now, top 4 plus CWC and FA cup the targets.

Finally a victory ,but the gameplay is so far off our best ,it´s hard to recognise this team. Pressing is way off and without great pressing ,we are not the same team. Possibly 6 points off top 4 places ,so we need to get on a little winning run.
