It's good City have a rest till next Saturday & no other premier league game for another 10 days after that.
Never touched me. !
Played like crap still make no mistake
scratch that liverpool can get 105I have us finishing with 84 points. We just need Salah and horse face to have a bad streak and we can chase Forest down :)
I'm here for it!
Agreed mate. Number of chances Scousers have conceded tonight but let’s ignore those. Yes they’re going to win the league but they’re the least deserving imo.I think City get judged harshly. Every team in the Premier League has excellent footballers who will create a chance or two expecially at home. We aren't going to get through a game without conceding a break or a shot. Teams are also excellent at getting through a press now (where ours is lacking at the moment is the second press as our midfield has no legs and the wingers dont contribute as much as they used to) but there were a couple of positive signs today - KdB mugged one of theirs on the edge of the box which he hasn't done for ages.
Foden took a couple of balls pinged into him on the half turn and was a bit more direct than usual. Savinho took his chance quite nicely. Ake looks in decent form. Gvardiols headed back pass was a little short but I think he was expecting Ortega to be a bit more assertive. There were even people moving for the players taking throw ins and we didn't immediately concede possession from them.
But the most alarming thing for me was seeing van Nistelrooy interacting with Pep and our players and seeming like a decent guy
he was better than foden. whats happened to him ?Felt nice to win again
What has happened to Foden?
KDB is finished at this point. One of the best ever for us but it’s time to move on
That brought a tear to pep’s eye. But I think I’ve got hay fever now my eyes are also streaming. This is beautiful! Watched the game in the pub and could hear our fans loud and clear throughout, great showing from them.
3 points. Get in!
Come on, I hate the fuckers too, but they're head and shoulders above everyone else in England this season on basically every metric.Agreed mate. Number of chances Scousers have conceded tonight but let’s ignore those. Yes they’re going to win the league but they’re the least deserving imo.
Not a great performance and probably an even game really, but we got a much needed win.
I thought a lot of our problems were coming from Kovačić running out of his defensive midfield position to try and win a tackle or intercept the ball and Leicester just playing around him and exploiting the space he left. He kept doing it over and over.
But he’s not a defensive midfielder so have to cut him some slack. That’s on the Director of Football and his team not buying or bringing through a defensive midfielder to cover for Rodri being absent which was apparent that it was needed over a year ago.
Given the state of the league and teams form on general it’s not rocket scienceCome on, I hate the fuckers too, but they're head and shoulders above everyone else in England this season on basically every metric.
You criticise Rico, who is one of our defenders for the number of goals he scores? You also blame him for our midfield issues. Absolute nonsense.Well if you don’t understand it mate, I can’t speak for others, but from my pov …
… Have a look at how often he’s out of position when we concede, have a look how often his passes are non-progressive, have a look at the times he gives the ball away, have a look at how often he gets outmuscled in 50/50s, have a look at how often he scores, have a look at how often he’s a passenger in midfield, have a look at how slow he is in the sprint.
Just to be clear I’m not necessarily talking about just about today’s game.
