Good management. We need to try save the players legs as much as we can. It’s a no brainer playing that team today, we’ve still got a more than comfortable lead in the league.

You should have had money on the line-up.

I’m not claiming I knew what the line up would have been today. I’m just saying it’s good management resting the lads that have been away over the past two weeks. What’s with the smart arse comments?

Also I expect Jesus to rise this weekend.

Yeah so many players on international duty that some need a rest. Also Leicester are a good team so if we had to “throw” one league game I’d rather it be this as its probably the trickiest

If you think Mendy’s likely to contribute much in the way of a “supply”, I fear you could be in for a disappointment. I‘m assuming from that line up our principal aim is to refrain from over-committing and to catch them out by turning the ball over. Rodri and Fernandinho is not a combo I’d have selected, but Pep will have a plan I’m sure

I think this could be the game for Mendy as long as he stays switched on to the counter attack.
