So Foden. Gundogan, and Zinchenko need a rest after playing International matches but you put in Garcia who played three times for Spain alongside Cancelo and Dias who were not exactly rested?
cancelo and Dias played Tuesday hence them ahead of the others. We have no other rcb available and I doubt pep would risk stones before Dortmund given his injury history so Garcia is the only option unless we play ake on the right side.

if pep goes with a back 4 then obviously Garcia wont start it will likely be Dias and laporte.

The 3 4 3 shape we used for the Fulham game allows us to rest Bernardo, foden, zinchenko, stones gundogan, Sterling, Walker and fully utilises the players who have had 2 weeks break.

I don't think there is a hope in hell of seeing Ake start. He hasn't played for months. I don't see Mendy starting either. Maybe one or both will appear as substitutes?

I would expect the likes of Fernadinho, Jesus, and Laporte to start. Also Rodri wasn't overworked in the International break so maybe might start?

I really don't see City putting out a weak team against Leicester.
He will not go full strength v Leicester. No chance. His priority by a million miles will be the Dortmund game so he will rest those who've been hammered during the internationals. He did just the same when we played Fulham just before the last cup game. We can afford to drop points in the league now which is a great luxury when chasing multiple trophies so expect all the big guns against Dortmund - Cancelo, Stones, Dias, Rodri, KDB, Mahrez and probably Foden are now probably the "undroppables". But don't expect many of them against Leicester.

Yep,bad timing in terms of opponent. We could have done with our big guns for this game.
Still,we have the players to get it done but anyone who thinks this Quad assault is anything other than near impossible is not quite wired right.

No way in hell will we win the quad & opposing fans will laugh at us in winning only the title or 2 or 3.
Weird cnuts

The Dortmund game is obviously the priority, so I think most of the players who didn't go on international duty will start, with the rest of the team made up by those who played fewer minutes for their country. Not ideal that so many of them played all three games, but not much we can do about that. Maybe something like this:

Edseron
Walker
Laporte
Ake
Mendy
Rodri
Fernandinho
De Bruyne
Mahrez
Jesus
Aguero
I quite like the look of that team.

Has anyone actually placed a bet on the grand slam. I wonder what the odds are now and by how much they will shorten if we beat Leicester this weekend.

Cannot get much more than 8-1 here in oz now which is incredible seeing its never been done before.

i had a sneaky bet at 100-1 after we beat Chelsea at Stamford Bridge because Liverpool who I thought were certainties to go back to back before the season started were already starting to wobble.

how wrong could I be Klopp who quickly runs all his clubs into the ground eventually yes 2 big trophies and the " Golden Times returning after 30 years in the top flight wilderness hasn't disappointed again.

I doubt he will be at the club despite his contract renewal beyond next season.

Pep has a magnificent record in the Domestic Cups since he took over always playing strong line ups and treating them seriously more so that any other Premiership Club unlike Klopp who has treated them with total disdain.

The league is over even I a pessimistic supporter in the main albeit I think somewhat more rational than most of doomsayers on here week in week out have to take my hat off to those who never doubted us despite the shaky first 13 games even spouting us to recover after the Spurs defeat.
