Delph would be very useful,but ive heard nothing of his situation?Players are due back in training this afternoon, so hopefully we'll get an idea if any of the injured players will be back in contention for Saturday. Hopefully Stones and Silva will be OK, think Foden is nearing a return too.

Yeah, it's been ominously quiet since he got injured at Anfield. Guardiola was pretty vague about it at the time.

As Pep has said in the past, Delph is much like Vinnie in when he says he's ready, he'll come straight back into contention. It's about how he feels in the lead-up.
It's a shame for the guy, he had such a good spell in the first half of the season and looked likely to go to the World Cup, hope he gets fitness and form back in time to be chosen (and help City win all four, of course.)

Both Stones and Silva will be ok baring David's situation on the home front.
I really think Stones could have played or been on the bench if it was a cup final or a vital league game , yes they all vital but we err on the side of caution if there are some doubts and I think we do that well compared to some sides even like Manure who bring back some players too early as we saw with bottlebrush.
We have done well without DS but he gives us that added assurance in ball retention and making the play that leads to better chances on goals.
Delph is my main concern at the moment although Danny is finding his feet now given an extended run of sorts.
We won't rush back Sane and Jesus , its looking more and more likely neither will be back before Mid March at the earliest.
Hope that Vinny can stay fit for the run in and be available for all 12 league games to come even though if so he will be on the bench in a number of those games.
Despite a lot of reservations from many I want some league game time for Yaya as well as I think he still has some magic in those legs for one last hurrah and this season again he has been pretty much injury free.
85 points and I will start to think we are on the title march I hope we can get there in the next 8 games at worst.

I agree he is due one more piece of magic before he hangs up his boots in the summer for us anyway.
