Leicester City (H) Pre Match Thread

Every chance it’ll be moved to the Sunday. Sky/BT haven’t announced which games in April they’ll be showing yet, but obviously the derby will be televised.

Manchester marathon on the Sunday, hopefully they'll keep it to Saturday, or if they move it, late Sunday or even Friday night, as i'm running in the morning but don't want to miss this either! If it's fucking 1.30 kick off i'll be fucked, have to really get my skates on!!

We are fine with him and fine when he is not playing.

I am comfortable going into the final 12 games if Dave needs more time at home so to speak which I am sure he will.

Losing Mendy for the season has been the biggest blow IMO.

If Sane and Jesus can come back mid march then that will be a big boost as will the return of Delph.

We need them all but we can cope without a few players for an extended period , all sides that win titles in the main have to do so.

Some are really trying hard to find an excuses to make the match look like a difficult one. As a reflection you could as easily say City will thrash Leicester for the same misguided anger for not letting us have Mahrez.

We are at home and due for a win. We play some fantastic football and can up our game if needed, especially at home. We have become masters at scoring last minute goals. We beat them twice at their place and we know how to cut off the feeding to Vardy. Leicester is due to change tactics playing us rather than the other way round. The players will be fresh and Silva probably comes back from injury, although I won't lose any sleep if he is out and we play Gundogan instead. And I have no worries who plays in the back four, or more specific centre back.
I don't expect a Stoke kinda scoreline, but it depends how the game develops. And a big part of that is to finish off when we are a little more clynical in front of goal.

Oh how I wish I could think like you, but I daren't. It's in my DNA to think the worst, whilst hoping for the best, I've learned to live with it. LOL! C'mon City.

We need Stones to start this game , he is the quickest of our centre backs and Leicester will be playing their normal big boot up to the Pikey game , would include Vinny and maybe Laporte in a back three , give Otto a well earned break.

Which ever team Pep picks it should still be good enough to win this game with ease. How this Mahrez thing will upset the Leicester players I don't know. The only sure thing is that Mahrez will not be playing this game, as he has missed a week's training and is supposed to be on strike, because of the stance of the Leicester board in not allowing him to join us, on deadline day.

Spring is coming and when it does City will be back to their sparkling best, like the French rugby team are when they've got the sun on their backs. 3-0 on Saturday.

It is an easier game if they do not have Mahrez and a game we should therefore win. They might want to beat us to make a point but without Mahrez they are a poorer side as their result against Everton showed.
