Leicester City Thread - 2021/22

When he was at Liverpool Brendan Rodgers always claimed to be a disciple of Pep's as did Martinez at Everton, yet Liverpool ruined their chances of any trophy because they conceded too many goals and Everton's players complained that Martinez was letting Moyses's impressive defence fall apart because he didn't do much work on defending. They were "partial" disciples of Pep at best. Yesterday we saw that Leicester couldn't defend any high ball into the area and any high ball down the middle caused panic. Marking was non existent and yesterday when the defence came under pressure the attack ceased to exist. I hate to say it but it is the absence of none other than Johnny Evans that has made the difference, and any manager who is so dependent on one ageing player (who is now always injured) is in real trouble. Are vthey so desperate they'd want the slab back???!!!

Leicester fans aren't happy.

I’m working with a Leicester supporter at present, and he was fucking jumping with them this morning.

I can’t say I blame him. If City players behaved like that, after a humiliating defeat, this place would be in meltdown.

I agree and it's not the first time for them.
